What is “contemporary dance”? Over the last forty years, this term refers to a multitude of choreographic creations and approaches. Behind the diversity and proliferation of forms, what are the main features of the contemporary dance landscape? Through nine simple questions, the aim here is to identify certain of its key notions and discover numerous choreographic artists of the French contemporary scene.
