- It’s shooting/spinning! – March 22, 2025 at 8:30 pm at the Théâtre Gérard Philipe in Champigny-sur-Marne.
- Thousand and one nights – June 7 at 8:00 pm and June 15, 2025 at 4:00 pm at Parc de Reuilly in Paris (as part of Nuit Blanche on the 7th) and at Parc de Chamarande (on the 15th), in collaboration with L’Atelier de Paris-CDCN and Théâtre Brétigny.
It’s shooting/spinning!
Dance and cinema, these arts of movement, have continually multiplied their pas de deux.
In cinema, when the director says “Action,” the camera operator responds “Rolling,” indicating that the camera starts moving and the film begins to run. So let’s make our own cinema!
Turning is also a common figure in dance, like jumping or walking. From the spiral of movement to circular patterns in space, from the rotation of a shoulder to that of the pelvis, from the curve of the body to spinning on oneself—it’s all about turning!
A joyful group of dancers invites you to let your gaze travel. Come take a spin—“You make my head spin!”

Thousand and one nights
A thousand and one dances? A thousand and one ways of dancing—each person finds their own dance, then slips into those of others. Multiple bodies and movements, again and again. Like One Thousand and One Nights, one dance calls for another, which calls for another. Countless Scheherazades, cascading twists, endless escapes. Singularities and suspense.
The aim of this project is to make a thousand and one dimensions of the group coexist within this shared journey. Some dances act as signatures, others as shared impulses—proximities and differences. A tireless reactivation of bodies presenting themselves. This is what Mille et une danses seeks to set in motion. A tale, an epic, layered narratives, personalities—everything dances and responds to one another.
